It's been a scorching summer for St. Louis barbecue and Bully's Smokehouse has been setting the house on fire.
PRLog - Oct. 4, 2013 - ST. LOUIS -- The restaurant is in Columbia, Illinois, but they represent the St. Louis metro area with style. They placed 18th place out of the top 100 sauces in the country. Another notable entry included KC Masterpiece, who finished 24th. With thousands of sauces on the market and a lot of big names, this is a sizable feat. The sauce, you ask? Shawn's 65 Mojo Sauce. I had to laugh when I asked about the name. Shawn Orloski the pitmaster of Bully's Smokehouse replied, "It took me 65 tries to get it the way I wanted it, but it was worth it."
After winning 1st place in the pork steak category in Florrisant earlier this year, and becoming a St. Louis Home Fires monthly "Thowdown Champ," Shawn thought it would be great to open the secret vault and let the public share a sauce he uses for competitions only.
