They have acquired the assets of Crown Hill Stone Inc., including their property and equipment located in Westfield, New York. They will be converting the newly acquired property to allow production of their full line of stone veneer and thin brick products. Coronado Stone expects the plant to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of this year. The new plant will support their expansion of sales into the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic United States, as well as Eastern Canada. The new facility expands Coronado Stone’s manufacturing footprint, which currently includes five plants located in South Carolina, Texas, Northern California and Southern California.
Coronado Stone Products® expects sales to continue to grow as they expand their market share across the United States and Canada. The new manufacturing facility will allow them to accelerate their growth by providing lower landed costs, shorter lead times, and better overall freight logistics to their customers within those key service areas.
