Dr. Hall will present “How our Education System Fails Our Students and the Disruptive Technologies That Will Help Save Them,” highlighting the promise and opportunity of the $13 billion education technology market as well as emphasizing the importance of integrating new technologies with human capital to create deeper student engagement and success. “From the new Common Core standards to questions about the higher education business model, disruptive technologies have a huge hand to play in reforming our education system,” said Dr. Hall. “Schools are investing heavily in technology-based solutions to better engage, track and meet the needs of an increasingly diverse student population. The financial stakes are high. More importantly, the sustainability of our education system and global competitiveness also hang in the balance.”
