J. Sugarman Auction Corp Announces 1 Million Dollar Vintage Television & Movie Memorabilia Auction

PRLog - March 4, 2015 - HALLANDALE, Fla. -- J. Sugarman Auction announces the Live and Online Auction of $1 Million worth of Vintage and extremely rare Television, Movie & Entertainment Memorabilia, from the Estate of Philip Leon held on Friday, March 6th through Sunday March 8th, 2015.

Philip Leon was a local teacher and an avid collector since the 1950’s of all sorts of Celebrity Memorabilia. He was a devoted Film Fan and became friends to many celebrities and stars throughout the years. He collected autographs, original movie posters, playbills, lobby cards, magazines, photographs, promotional items, props and costumes.  Also included are Original Scripts and Studio contracts signed by the actors. The sale is being conducted for Mrs. Leon who has kept the merchandise for 11 years since the death of her beloved husband.

There is an incredible selection of memorabilia. Mr. Leon had a special infinity for Original Horror Memorabilia. Bidders will find a great selection of Horror Movie Posters, including Wolfman, Frankenstein and Dracula. There are a great many original autographs from some of the biggest stars in film history including Boris Karloff, John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Vincent Price, Elizabeth Taylor, Lucille Ball, The Three Stooges, Edward G Robinson and many more.

The collection has over 3,000 items valued at well over $1,000,000.

The Auction will be held Live and Online on Friday, March 6th @ 6pm EST at The Show Emporium in Cooper City, FL for Day 1. Day 2, Saturday, March 7th and Day 3, Sunday, March 8th will only be Online with both days starting at 1pm EST.
