Retirement Income Planner Brady Speers Recalls Awards

Long time political and small business activist Brady Speers reflects on a career that has included some awards, achievements and some let downs along the way.
PRLog - July 21, 2015 - MANSFIELD, Texas -- Safe Retirement Experts co-founder, Brady Speers, has been in and around the small business world for more than 25 years and with that he recalls both some very good and very bad times.

"I started working for myself right after getting my graduate degree from Baylor and it was difficult," he recently stated. "I have always had a passion for working for myself and though it has been hard, it has also been a great experience."

Mr. Speers received the "2003 Businessman of the Year" award given by the National Republican Congressional Committee's Business Advisory Council for his involvement and support of small business ideals. In 2004 he was invited to attend a Presidential luncheon in Washington, DC, hosted by President George Bush that focused on small business issues.

He has also been recognized by various Who's Who organizations; in 2005 and again in 2014, along with other individual professional awards.

"It hasn't always been easy and pretty," he added. "I can remember times when I wasn't sure how the bills were going to get paid or why it seemed I was an easy target for others to try and attack or tear down. But in the end, you keep pushing, trusting God and working hard."
