Is Caterpillar’s lowered sales outlook really about a strong dollar?

Caterpillar Inc. says the strong dollar is the main reason it cut its sales outlook after reporting second-quarter results, even though the dollar weakened during the quarter. Maybe the real blame should be put on a slowing global economy?
