China Telecom chairman detained in corruption probe

China Telecom’s chairman is the latest in a string of corporate executives to be hauled in front of the country’s anti-graft squad for questioning. A statement from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said Chang Xiaobing had been detained on suspicion of “severe disciplinary violations.”
