Intertrust Deploys Complete Suite of Media and Big Data Security Products at Mobile World Congress

Intertrust Technologies Corporation today announced that it is showcasing its suite of media, IoT and secure systems products at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona February 22-25. The products at the show are revolutionizing the way people make mobile and IoT devices trusted, and share data across distributed trusted cloud services. Attendees at Mobile World Congress seeking to build trusted devices, and monetize media, healthcare and IoT data distributed across the cloud, can find valuable information about the products and meet the Intertrust team at the Intertrust booth at Hall 8.1 Stand 8.1J17.

Intertrust, the inventor of trusted distributed computing and digital rights management (DRM), has been a force in content management and protection technologies for many years. Over the last five years, Intertrust has expanded its technologies to enable a broad range of vertical markets, adding authentication and tamper resistance technologies for IoT and mobile devices, and Big Data platforms that provide cloud rights management capabilities.

“Today, all cloud-connected devices require security and digital trust, and our security products and services are mission-critical tools,” said Talal G. Shamoon, Intertrust’s chief executive officer. “Internet-enabled devices need federated identity management and secure tamper resistance, while companies and institutions sharing cloud-based data must manage an assortment of digital rights as the data travels across the network.”

The company is showcasing the following products at Mobile World Congress:

  • Digital Rights Management – ExpressPlay Multi-DRM Media Cloud: Intertrust invented DRM in the 90s and has pioneered many groundbreaking DRM platforms over the years. ExpressPlay is its latest multi-DRM cloud. Today, Intertrust offers a cloud service that manages content deployed to all major smartphones and smart device using all major DRM technologies from Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Marlin, the world’s only open DRM standard, which is broadly deployed in China, Japan and Europe. ExpressPlay offers advanced features including multi-device support and forensic watermarking and is approved by all major content providers.
  • Software Tamper Resistance – whiteCryption: Every mobile app developer who has a secret to hide knows that hackers will attack the app’s software instructions. whiteCryption provides the worlds most advanced code obfuscation and white-box crypto technologies that protect apps with sensitive information and thwart attacks on apps. Today, whiteCryption protects major media players, smart car apps and healthcare apps. The applications are limitless, and as IoT devices proliferate, whiteCryption is rapidly becoming the standard of care against app hacking.
  • Trusted Big Data for Mobile Video Advertising – Personagraph: Intertrust created Personagraph as a high-performance distributed Big Data platform to support horizontal applications. Today, Personagraph collects and analyzes behavioral data from hundreds of millions of mobile users and uses the insights from that data to fuel targeted mobile advertising. Personagraph has advanced Big Data rights management capabilities that include privacy and enterprise policy management. In addition to providing powerful mobile video advertising to thousands of mobile apps on Android and iOS, Personagraph can be used by operators to analyze in-house data sets in a secure fashion.

“Intertrust’s security and trusted distributed computing products are laying the rail for the next generation of cloud computing,” said Guido Cugi, Intertrust’s lead technologist for EMEA. “While other companies are building silos in the cloud, we are deploying technologies that allow data owners to keep data where it’s safe and share it in a way that maximizes productivity and minimizes misappropriation.”

Intertrust technologists will also be present to discuss the company’s technologies, including trusted data platforms such as Genecloud, Intertrust’s trusted Big Data platform for healthcare and DNA information, and Intertrust venture partners such as Kiora (http://www.kioramedia.tv/), an exciting mobile media product for in-vehicle entertainment and other low bandwidth domains, and Planet OS, Intertrust’s partner for geospatial Big Data (https://planetos.com/).
