Northwestern Mutual planning layoffs

Milwaukee insurance and investment giant Northwestern Mutual, which is metro Milwaukee’s ninth-largest employer with 5,900 local employees, plans to cut an unspecified number of jobs, according to a report from Milwaukee Business Journal news partner WTMJ-AM (620).
