Kosciusko Cares Youth Services Bureau Announces Annual April Fool’s 5K

WINONA LAKE, INDIANA – 30 Mar, 2017 – Kosciusko Cares Youth Services Bureau Annual April Fool’s 5K is scheduled for April 29, 2017, Winona Lake, Indiana.  The deadline for early bird registrations is Friday, March 31st at midnight.

The mission of the Kosciusko Cares Youth Services Bureau is to advocate for, support, and promote healthy youth development. The Youth Services Bureau offers evidence-based and data-driven prevention programs and strategies positively impacting youth and families in Kosciusko County.  

The Youth Services Bureau programs build resilience, healthy decision-making, and communication skills.  Kosciusko Cares YSB is also the home of the iCARE Youth Coalition and the Drug Free Kosciusko Coalition working to build hope that elimnates substance use among youth.  

The annual April Fool’s 5K is open to serious runners, as well as friends and families simply ready for a leisurely walk through scenic Winona Lake.  The 5K will be timed by the Fort Wayne Runners Club.  The theme is meant to be enjoyable for kids of all ages.  There will be fun-loving clowns, balloon animals, bubbles, and some goofy shenanigans.  The best dressed jesters will win a prize!
