N.C. Research Campus gets $4.4M lab to find new markets for farmers in the state

The N.C. Food Processing Innovation Center is scheduled to open in 2018 in the core lab in Kannapolis. It’s included in the state budget, which calls for $700,000 in recurring for the 10,000-square-foot facility.
