What Xcel's massive NM wind project could mean for jobs

New Mexico's $865-million Sagamore Wind Project is expected to create 600 jobs, both temporary and full-time. That's according to the Minneapolis-based Xcel Energy, which stated Monday those jobs are part of the company's efforts to add more than 1,000 megawatts of wind energy that Xcel will build and own in Roosevelt County, New Mexico, and Hale County, Texas.
