‘Potentially catastrophic’ Hurricane Irma makes landfall in the Caribbean

Hurricane Irma, one of worst ever Atlantic storms, made its first landfall early Wednesday morning in the northeast Caribbean with the eye passing over Barbuda as it headed toward Puerto Rico and potentially Florida.
