When Donald Trump was elected president last November, observers predicted that a Trump administration would set in motion a major overhaul of the nation’s financial regulatory structure, with an emphasis on repealing the Dodd-Frank Act of 2010 or at least scaling back many of its requirements. These predictions were not overly speculative.
