Greater Washington nonprofits struggle to land dollars as area foundations shift focus

Since 2013, big-name foundation funders like the Freddie Mac Foundation, the Summit Fund, the MARPAT Foundation and the Jovid Foundation have all announced an end to their giving, leaving area nonprofits worried about a further shrinking funding pot.
