NEW YORK - Nov. 22, 2017 - PRLog -- "2017 brought us a very sophisticated range of designs," said Kuchnicki. "Jurors had a hard look and spirited debate over the latest designs from HP, Fitbit, IBM, Dell and many other design-conscious firms."
The 11th International Spark Awards program was the most competitive in its history, with the highest number of awards submissions to date and a distinguished panel of over 40 jurors assembled.
With submissions arriving from all over the world, Spark's host—the Autodesk Design Gallery, was a busy scene during their recent jury week. "But somehow it all came together beautifully," said Kuchnicki.
First held in 2007, the Spark Awards are presented in 11 categories and many sub-categories, including Product design, Experience, Spaces, Heath, Communication, Cause, Concept/MAKR/PROTO design, Transport and WEAR design.
Winners of the Awards were determined by an independent multi-disciplinary jury from top-tier design consultancies, in-house design teams and educators. Firms included LUNAR/McKinsey, IDEO, Altitude/Accenture, HP, Intuitive Surgical, Landor, Steelcase, Gensler and Camelbak among others.
