Congressman wants answers from Intel, AMD on far-reaching chip flaws

A U.S. lawmaker from California this week asked Intel Corp., Advanced Micro Devices and Softbank-owned Arm Holdings to give him a briefing on the Spectre and Meltdown chip flaws affecting tens of millions of computers, servers and smartphones.
