NRG Energy breaks ground on 3 grid-scale solar projects in Hawaii

NRG Energy (NYSE: NRG) said the three projects at Kawailoa, Waipio and Mililani will have a combined capacity of 110 megawatts and produce low-cost, renewable energy equivalent to that used by almost 32,000 Oahu homes each year.
