Tesla says report on battery bottlenecks and flaws is ‘detached from reality’

Tesla’s Model 3 production goals remain on target, the luxury electric carmaker said this week, pushing back on a report from CNBC that suggested workers at the company’s Gigafactory in Nevada had been assembling parts of the car’s batteries by hand as recently as mid-December.
