Flemming joins FocalPoint with over 30 years' experience leading change through organizational transitions, leadership changes, and business strategy adjustments. He has held leadership roles in Engineering and Human Resources at Fortune 500 Companies in the Public Utility, Consumer Products Manufacturing and Business Services industries. He has transformed business functions and processes during mergers, acquisitions, business expansions and downturns, facility closures, taking a privately held company public and nurturing organizational growth in a start-up enterprise.
Flemming served in the US Navy, Submarine Service where he rose to leadership roles while serving aboard the USS Gato (SSN 615). He holds a BS in Biology and Chemistry from the University of the State of New York. He received Nuclear Engineering training while serving in the Navy. During his career in Corporate Human Resources he also achieved credentials as Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and designation as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). Flemming engages within his community by serving as Assistant Scoutmaster and Eagle Scout Advisor with the Boy Scouts of America and as a leader in his church. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army of Greensboro, NC.
