Dollar holds to modest gain as Fed officials line up to speak

The U.S. dollar edged up against some major rivals Friday, helping to keep a gauge of the greenback’s performance on course for a weekly win, but the market will look for further clues about the path of borrowing rates in remarks by Federal Reserve officials.
