Spectrum Brands merging with majority shareholder

Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc., the maker of Rayovac batteries, Remington shavers, and Toastmaster and George Foreman small appliances, said Monday that it has agreed to merge with its majority shareholder, HRG Group.
