National Testing Network Partners With The Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police

By: PRLog
DUBLIN, Ohio - Feb. 28, 2018 - PRLog -- National Testing Network, Inc. (NTN), the leader in recruiting and employment testing for public safety departments, announces a partnership with the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP).

This agreement will offer reduced test administration costs for the Association's member departments, and provide increased exposure to more candidates through continuous nationwide recruitment and testing.  Annually, NTN tests more than 50,000 candidates, and hosts more than 20,000 test sessions through over 115 test centers.  NTN currently has 10 testing centers in Ohio, providing candidates flexibility to choose a convenient time and location.

Candidates register to take the exams through NTN's state-of-the-art online registration system.  During registration, candidates can use the interactive map to find the most conveniently located test center in their community.  The NTN system notifies candidates of careers in their region, and provides email updates on new opportunities as they become available. NTN delivers examinations with video simulations that depict scenarios candidates would encounter while working in the position they are applying for.

With online testing, candidates see their score results immediately after completing the test, and public safety departments receive instantaneous score results once exams are completed. NTN provides public safety agencies with the most current applicant pool information and essential test score data so departments can quickly make good hiring decisions.

"We are extremely excited about this partnership," said Carl Swander, Ph.D., President and CEO of National Testing Network. "Not only will departments have the opportunity to leverage cost savings and increase candidate diversity and quality through this relationship, we're positioned to enhance the testing process for candidates and eliminate the barriers they used to face under old testing models."

When long time NTN client, Chief Petrozzi of the Perry Township Police Department was asked about the affinity agreement with the OACP and its member departments, he said this, "For my money, this is the best recruiting/testing tool I have ever used and the cost is unbelievable. NTN provides agencies with a system through which applicant testing is streamlined and simplified. The system provides for applicant sign-up and testing, with local and national testing centers. NTN gives your agency the opportunity to reach candidates nationally, not just regionally. They will also advertise your agency on multiple media platforms to assist you with recruiting.  In addition to test scores you will also receive a Personal History Questionnaire and demographics for each candidate.  It's all done for you!"

NTN is the sister company of Ergometrics & Applied Personnel Research, Inc., a human resource management firm with 36 years of expertise in testing public service professions.
