UC scientist patents drug to treat dangerous infections

Daniel Hassett, a scientist with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, has been issued a patent for a drug that is could be used to treat lung infections in patients with cystic fibrosis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
