Pugh says new police technology, changes to recruiting will continue to lower violence rates

The implementation of new technology in the city's police department, as well as changes in recruiting and hiring practices and the launch or expansion of other safety programs, are expected to continue to reduce violence in the city which is down from the same time last year.
