Railroad rejects Met Council offer for Southwest LRT deal

Light rail cars are expected to share a portion of their 15-mile route with freight trains run by Glencoe-based Twin Cities & Western Railroad. But reaching an agreement with TC&W has become a months-long headache for the Metropolitan Council.
