Yoga and wellness studio opens in Wasatch County, conveniently located to Park City, Kamas, and Heber City

Park City, UT - A new and unique yoga studio is opening in the Wasatch Back. Oak + Willow Yoga & Wellness Studio has scheduled a grand opening for Sunday, July 1, 2018. The studio, located in the Park East Building on Lori Lane in Heber City, will welcome new and potential clients during their Open House celebration that is scheduled for 1:00 to 5:00, with a morning class offered at 10 a.m. to kick things off in yoga style.

Oak + Willow is owned and operated by Nikki Glandon, a passionate yoga instructor who says yoga and wellness saved her life. Glandon will bring her deep belief in the power of yoga to Oak + Willow. “I will provide a place where people can thrive as individuals, from their yoga practice to overall wellness,” Glandon shared.

Glandon has designed the studio to offer classes and programs that will add fitness and balance into the lives of her clients. “Oak + Willow is meant to be a place where you want to spend your time, and to move your practice from a checklist item to something you crave.”

Glandon migrated from East Tennessee to Utah via Colorado, where she had moved to study photography.  While in Colorado, Glandon discover yoga and it became a passion.  “When I was at Colorado Mountain College, I started practicing yoga and knew then that I wanted to teach it to others as it impacted my life so positively,” Glandon said.

After moving to Utah, Glandon got the opportunity to train at the Baptiste Yoga Institute and there began a 10-year journey to study yoga. Since that initial course, she has travelled to Africa, Costa Rica, and across the United States learning how yoga works with the human body. She is currently taking Yoga Medicine courses that provide intensive trainings on specialized body parts, such as a course on yoga and hips.

“I believe in movement, in knowing your body and loving it, even on the bad days. Yoga is more than a way of life for me, it enhances my life by making my body feel better and my relationships and life thrive,” Glandon explained. “I believe in connection, in your roots going deep, and your branches high. I feel blessed to be bringing this passion to my community,” she added.

Her passion shows in her work.  According to one person who experienced Glandon’s yoga instruction first hand shared, “I’ve been practicing yoga off and on for several years and thought I had experienced quality instruction. After being in a class with Nikki, I can say hands down she is the best instructor I’ve ever had ever!” adding that, “her class are fun, motivating, relaxing and powerful!”

During the grand opening, visitors will be able to participate in demonstration classes and take advantage of special offers on memberships.  The studio has a number of classes on the books in June and July for all levels of yoga lovers, from beginners to advanced.
