GE spinning off its health care business to focus on power, renewable energy and aviation

The Boston-based conglomerate is also selling off its shares of the oil services company Baker Hughes. Following that restructuring, GE's business will focus on aviation, renewable energy and power, which has a large presence in Schenectady.
