Biofriendly and Akron Double Down on Their Commitment to Improve the Environment

Biofriendly Corporation announced today that Akron and Biofriendly distributor, Horeb Energia y Combustibles Ecologicos have extended their agreement to provide clean fuels in Mexico. Akron, Horeb and Biofriendly began their relationship in 2013.

The partnership started when the companies explored the possibility of combining Akron’s engine-cleaning additive with Biofriendly’s Green Plus® smog reducer in order to develop something new for the Mexican market. After rigorous compatibility and emissions testing, a new product, Green Road, was born. Since its introduction to the Mexican market in June of 2013, Green Road has removed over 4 million pounds of Carbon Dioxide from the environment in Mexico.

By extending their partnership, the three companies have committed themselves to not only maintain their existing efforts to help the environment, but to expand those in order to make an even bigger difference to the air quality in Mexico.
