Glatfelter Announces Price Increase

Glatfelter, a global supplier of specialty papers and engineered products, today announced price increases on all its composite fibers products. The price increases will be implemented in the fourth quarter and will apply to all non-confirmed orders and to all products within composite fibers: food and beverage, composite laminates and technical specialty papers as well as metallized products. The level of price increases will depend on the nature of the product, existing contracts and invoicing currencies. Customers will be contacted individually by the appropriate business team to discuss specific actions.

Commenting on the increase, Martin Rapp, Vice President and General Manager for Glatfelters Composite Fibers Business Unit, said, Input costs, particularly for raw materials and energy, continue to rise, many to all-time record high levels. We have and will continue to take actions necessary to mitigate the impact of these increases on our customers.
