Victor Riley, who grew KeyCorp into a national name, dies at 86

When Riley took over KeyBank in 1973, it had just over $1 billion in assets and 89 branches. In his more than two decades with the company, it grew to become a national bank with $67.7 billion in assets and more than 1,300 branches from Maine to Alaska.
