Facebook investing heavily in 'profound philosophical shift' on security, Sandberg says

One day after Facebook Inc. disclosed yet another effort to undermine U.S. elections on its platform, Cheryl Sandberg was direct on the challenge the company is facing. "What we really didn't see coming was a more insidious threat, where people would use the information platform to be inauthentic and pretend to be what they were not," she said in a speaking engagement before the National Urban League conference in Columbus. "Since then, we've made massive investments in A.I., and technology and people."
