Baylor Scott & White to merge with Houston’s Memorial Herman system to form health care goliath

Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health, the state's largest not-for-profit system, and Memorial Hermann Health System of Houston intend to merge in a combination that would create a 68-hospital system with annual revenue of more than $14 billion.
