Former Google executives say safety wasn’t their top concern in Waymo’s early days

In one reported incident, two Google employees were reportedly injured after the self-driving car they were in apparently couldn’t distinguish between a yellow and red light, braked suddenly, and was rear-ended by a pickup truck.
