Artist creates exhibition of twenty works of art: Events in the Life of Jesus Christ
DETROIT - Nov. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- In a time of great upheaval in organized religion across the globe, a new exhibit aims to remind the faithful that sacred art is a form of evangelization and can heal.
A new exhibit, The Events in the Life of Jesus Christ, at Marygrove College Art Gallery, presents twenty 22 x 30" watercolors by Detroit artist Ron Teachworth.
Through expansive backgrounds and traditional representational style, Teachworth reminds us that while the world may move forward, sometimes looking back can illuminate much more than we expect. The paintings are exhibited in such a way as to provide a visual narrative of the life of Christ.
None of the paintings will be for sale. They will only be available to view in this gallery, Marygrove College Art Gallery through December 30, 2018 and potentially other parishes throughout the Detroit Archdiocese.
