Invasive tick species spreads to 9 states, raises potential health concerns, CDC says

A species of tick native to the Asia-Pacific region that potentially poses a disease threat to humans has spread across the country, now located in nine different states, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced this week.
