Japan to spend about $10 billion on Lockheed Martin’s F-35 fighters

Japan plans to spend around $10 billion to become the largest customer outside the U.S. for Lockheed Martin Corp.’s F-35 jet fighters, as it responds to a rising China and pressure from President Donald Trump to spend more on American military hardware.
