State attorney general's appeal could block county's hospital purchases

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra has appealed the sale of O'Connor and Saint Louise hospitals to Santa Clara County because he says it doesn't meet conditions set by his predecessor, now-U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris, in 2015.
