Eden Prairie, MN (January 16, 2019) Phillips & Temro Industries (PTI), the developer and manufacturer of engine heating and cooling products, has launched Silicone Pad Heaters for the European market to fulfill market demand.
Cold weather compromises oils, lubricants and fuel systems, making them the single most critical issue in cold regions. PTI CE certified Silicone Pad Heaters are electronic heating pads designed to provide warmth to areas with fluid that are susceptible to freezing or thickening. They utilize direct heat transfer to maintain viscosity in cold weather applications and are applicable to cars and SUVs, light and heavy duty trucks, tractors, mining, snowmobiles and ATVs. The Silicone Pad heaters are available in various sizes, 12DC, 24DC and 230 volts for multiple applications.
PTI will leverage new distribution channels in Europe, the second-largest market for diesel generators driven by economic growth, existing power failures and demand for steady power supply. Silicon pads help maintain consistent generator power by heating batteries, fuel filters and engine oil.
PTI has three categories of Silicone Pad Heaters:
- Adhesive mounting on smooth metal surfaces to warm engine oil and hydraulic fluid;
- Flexible pad heaters that wrap around metal diesel fuel filters with a hook and loop closure; and
- Slim design battery heaters that are acid resistant and it easily installed in the battery box or tray.
