Winners of Logic Inbound Best Ecommerce Platform Poll

By: Get News
Ecommerce platforms are growing tremendously in popularity thanks to ease of use provided by online shopping to the average person. Many small business owners think about launching their own online shop, but how should they do it? That is why it is important to ask end-users about what ecommerce software they’re using to run an online business.Logic Inbound launched a user poll a while back on its website where users were asked about their preferred ecommerce platform. This poll included ecommerce platforms that are emerging and aren’t widely recognized, but are still being used by thousands of people over the world. In order to shine a spotlight on ecommerce platforms that go undetected, users were asked to vote for their favorite ecommerce platform. Polling ended during mid-January 2019, with surprising results.

There are many ecommerce platforms to choose from these days. Shopify, BigCommerceand Wixare all well-known store builder services that have a great reputation and user base. However, there are many little-known ecommerce platforms out there that pack powerful features at affordable prices.

Logic Inbound, a digital marketing agency in Seattle, recently launched a user poll to find out which ecommerce platforms its site visitors use. This poll was launched with the intention of researching which ecommerce platforms are actually being used along with all the rest of the well-known services.

The poll included the usual suspects such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Wix, WooCommerce and Volusion. In addition to that however, several lesser-known platforms such as Ecwid, Foxy and Selz were also included in the poll. The poll was simple and simply asked users what their favorite ecommerce platform is. The post in which the poll was placed is frequented by users in the small business domain.

After about 2 weeks of voting, the ecommerce platform that got the most votes was Selz. Selzis an up-and-coming ecommerce platform which lets anyone create an online store quickly, affordably and with great customer support backup. It got 20.93% of user votes, edging out the second place just barely.

Foxyis an online service which lets users integrate a shopping cart into any website. It supports native integrations with popular content management systems such as WordPress, and comes with affordable pricing. Foxy secured 18.6% of user votes and came second.

In third place is Ecwid, an ecommerce platform that allows users to either create an online store from scratch, or integrate a shopping cart to an existing website. This makes it a pretty flexible platform, and its affordable pricing means it is accessible for small business owners. It secured 16.28% of user votes.

The results of the poll are certainly very interesting, as the poll also included names like BigCommerce, Shopify and WooCommerce. But it seems that at least with visitors of the Logic Inbound website, there are certainly more diverse ecommerce services being used for online stores.
