AUSTIN, TX – Twenty years ago Billboard Top 100 artist, Live stage director, and opera singer, LeighAnn Heil, was focused on her musical and theatrical career and had no idea she would eventually develop the country’s hottest public speaking coaching programs for entrepreneurs. Fast-forward a few decades, and the path to coaching entrepreneurs seems almost axiomatic. “Public speaking is performance,” explains LeighAnn Heil. “I was a theater major and spent the majority of my younger years entertaining an audience, so transitioning from plays to events wasn’t as big a leap as my younger self might have believed at the time.” When she transitioned from actor to director, she got her dream job; installing huge variety shows with casts of hundreds. “The shows were literally built out in a stadium. There was a full thirty-piece band, over a thousand performers; the works. I was only twenty-five years old and had actors who had never been onstage before, so we needed them ready in a hurry. I discovered my knack for getting people onstage and then garnered a reputation for quality shows. The performers loved it as well, in fact, one of my performers went on to be a best-selling musical artist, another performer went to Hollywood and is now a working film actor!” Heil spent decades on the road as a touring musical artist and actor. While visiting various countries and continents, she honed her skills in presentation. She also learned how to read an audience, and engage audiences. LeighAnn sought to expand her definition of performance and reach a wider audience. The journey to becoming a public-speaking coach began with touring as a musical artist but expanded into other areas of influence and passion. LeighAnn realized those areas second nature to her were a stumbling block for many others. She knew she could teach others how to be natural in front of an audience, how to connect with people regardless of the platform: showing them how to translate their entrepreneurial talents into a “performance” showcasing their brand. She returned to study coaching and has since built a dream resume in coaching and public speaking. Not only did she continue her education at Ivy League universities, but now holds over ten coaching and content marketing certifications from some of the most prestigious institutes in those spaces. Today, LeighAnn Heil works with artists and entrepreneurs to develop their public speaking skills and create a second stream of revenue through coaching, speaking, and live seminars. She has either hosted or performed in over 800 events and brings that knowledge and expertise to her hosting program.
