Only Wedding Officiants Need Apply: Growing Online Service Takes a Big Stressor Out of Couples’ Special Day

And the popularity of their service means they are looking for wedding celebrants across the country.

Nuptially Yours was founded in 2017 by the Rev. Heath Wiggins who says he wants to help couple celebrate their day, their way – and to make it easy to find the right person to make it official for them.

Wiggins attended Valor Christian College where he majored in vocal performance, was a top-rated orator and skilled wordsmith. After college he worked in the event production business that specialized in weddings and charitable functions, and later facilitated musical and vocal performances for his church.

“Our research showed that not only is the wedding process stressful but that 80 percent of couples do some part of their wedding planning online,” said Wiggins. “Nuptially Yours’ mission is twofold: help make each couple’s wedding day special and simpler, and provide licensed officiants with a means of marketing their services.” said Wiggins.

Nuptially Yours gives its officiant partners targeted SEO and geographical marketing support, booking, contract and billing services and scheduling management.

“We basically help celebrants to get the word out in their local area about their services to couples seeking those services – which in turn gives couples a one-stop shop for finding their ideal fit,” he added. “Otherwise, couples have to visit multiple wedding websites or search officiants in their town, then contact each one to find out individual officiant’s availability, pricing, and belief systems. And officiants are often unsure how to market themselves and handle the business end of their service.”

The organization is currently offering services in five states – North and South Carolina, Georgia, Washington State, and Wisconsin – with an aggressive plan to expand nationwide.
