Attorney General William Barr will not recuse self from overseeing special counsel Mueller's probe

U.S. Attorney General William Barr will not recuse himself from oversight over the ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller, a Justice Department spokeswoman said. Barr's decision not to recuse follows guidance from "senior career officials" at the Justice Department, the spokeswoman said. Mueller is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, and possible collusion by the campaign of President Donald Trump and possible obstruction of justice by Trump.
