Elon Musk: ‘Volume production’ of the $35,000 Tesla Model 3 is still months away

The long-awaited $35,000 Tesla Model 3 will begin rolling off the assembly line in Fremont this month, but won’t reach “volume production” until the middle of the year, CEO Elon Musk said.
