The Joybien “Batman” BM101 mmWave Sensor Solution Evaluation Kit is a high performance mmWave Hardware and Software combined Solution Kit that includes a small & compact mmWave Sensor Module Board, a direct plug-in Raspberry Pi-Hat Board with optional Bluetooth Module, an iOS Software Development Kit (SDK) available on GitHub along with iOS mmWave Demo App on Apple App Store, and an open-source Python SDK available on GitHub for developing software on Raspberry Pi and other computers.
The Batman Kit’s mmWave Sensor Module Board is pre-configured with one of the three evaluation applications: Vital Signs Detection, People Movement Behavior Trigger, or High Accuracy Measurement; and where we have taken out the complexity of higher engineering & physics & mathematics with robust algorithms pre-programmed within, that resulted in comprehensible parameter values (such as Range, Angle, Velocity, Distance, Heartbeat, Respiration, etc.) for software programming on iOS and/or Python (and with Android on Roadmap) to explore these mmWave sensing applications.
The benefit of having the Batman Kit is for the user to get hands-on with the latest mmWave sensing world quickly right of the box. For a Novice, the user may execute the iOS App on an iPhone/iPad via Bluetooth wireless connectivity to gain mmWave application’s practical experience without involving programming. For an Intermediate User, the user may apply the Batman Kit for the target application by connecting the Kit to a Raspberry Pi computer, and modifying or designing Python software based on the included SDK. As for an Advanced User, the user may utilize the Batman Kit as an mmWave Sensor End Device for AI+IoT application with Deep Learning features.
