The product uses an antique oil capacitor and an R power transformer for the best performance in power supply. This DSD hardware decoder XLR has a shipping weight of 4kg and comes with two different color choices. The DAC can have a Made in Russia vacuum tube or can include a vacuum tube that is made in the USA. The spokesperson reveals that this DSD decoder can be equipped with three different types of transformers, which are dual toroidal transformer, single R core transformer and single toroidal transformer. The upgraded version of the DAC comes with a bigger R core transformer, so that it gets enough power to deliver nicer sound. Since August 2018, this DAC model has provided the paid driver of the XMOS official paid version by paying for the customization cost to Germany’s Thesycon. This DAC supports Apple iPhone and Apple Mac system. However, it does not support iOS.
