DVDFab UHD Drive Tool addresses the major issue faced by the video lovers when trying to make home backups for their expensive 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs – the firmware on their UHD Drives block 3rd party UHD backup software tools from accessing 4K discs from the drives. The solution is to perform a UHD friendly firmware downgrade, by restoring a previous version of the firmware from the drive’s manufacturer into the drive.

How it works
The working of UHD Drive Tool is pretty simple and straightforward. All the buttons and controls are self-explanatory. At first, Change the SATA port mode of your UHD drive’s connection to IDE mode. Then, take out your disc, launch the UHD Drive tool and select your UHD Drive from the Drive list. Next, click the “Downgrade Firmware” button and wait as the friendly firmware is flashed and success is reported. At this point, reboot your computer and you should be all set.
