Emily Cooper Joins Atwell’s Environmental Team

Atwell, LLC is pleased to welcome Emily Cooper to our environmental team as Senior Project Manager. Based in Atwell’s Lakewood office, she will be responsible for business development, project management, and execution of large-scale impact assessment and permitting projects across the United States.

With more than 16 years of experience in environmental consulting, Cooper provides strategic advice, permitting and planning support to clients. She has experience helping clients identify regulatory and policy triggers, plan for regulatory and social risk, develop and manage mitigation and monitoring plans, and integrate natural capital concepts into strategic planning.

Cooper specializes in managing large-scale and complex permitting projects for clients across a range of industries, including telecommunications, power and energy, and oil and gas. She has a technical background in biology and socioeconomics, and is an expert in impact assessment and ecosystem services, including compliance with state, federal, and international impact assessment standards.
