Hawaii regulators OK lower rates for charging electric buses

The lower rates that encourage charging overnight and during midday, when solar energy is abundant, will apply for a total of up to 20 bus fleet customers, the utility, a subsidiary of Hawaiian Electric Industries Inc. (NYSE: HE), said Thursday.
