Crunch time: Water officials push Senate on urgency of Colorado River drought plan

Arizona officials were expected on Thursday to present the official Colorado River drought contingency plan to federal lawmakers in Washington. The critical plan addresses water supplies in the river’s two biggest reservoirs, Lake Mead and Lake Powell.
